Internship pathway

Become a Behaviour Support Practitioner

For qualified professionals entering Positive Behaviour Support. Shortlisted candidates join us as interns, with training, supervision and portfolio support at no cost.

Not offered an internship? You can still enrol in the training and supervision as a paying participant.

Check if you qualify

NDIS rules require Behaviour Support Practitioners to hold relevant qualifications and be found suitable by the NDIS Commission before they can practise. That's why our pathway builds your skills, supervision and endorsement first, so you're ready to work with us once your suitability is confirmed.

Registered NDIS provider

We contract under Assist Disability, a registered NDIS behaviour support provider. NDIS rules require practitioners to be engaged through a registered specialist behaviour support provider, and this partnership means the services our practitioners deliver sit within a registered provider's quality and safeguarding framework.

Internship pathway: who we're looking for

  • Teachers and registered educators
  • Counsellors and psychotherapists
  • Registered nurses and mental health clinicians
  • Psychologists and social workers
